because active listening is also empathic listening.
- Aug 26 2022 - It doesn't matter if you are appreciated or not.
It doesn't matter if others fail to recognize your effort.
An unrequited affection or attention can hurt, but it should not move you or stop you from doing what you ought to do.
What matters is that you're doing the good thing, the right thing.
For others.
For yourself.
What matters is that you are being you.
That you never change the way how you treat others just because others seem to fail on what you expect of them.
But the thing is, expecting anything from anyone will only lead to unnecessary disappointments.
People are different. Thus, we differ in how we value one another.
The only important thing is that you know who you are within and that you continue to strive to be a better person with every passing moment.
Love deeply.
Live honestly.
Laugh genuinely.
stay true.
stay real.
stay kind.
